33rd Annual Glass & Pottery Show and Sale

April 10 & 11, 2010

Annual Glass & Pottery Show & Sale

The Lincoln Land Depression Era Glass & Pottery Club will host its annual show and sale.

Depression glass items are those made during the Depression Years in America. They were made inexpensively by machine and sold through "5 and 10 cent" stores or given away as publicity items or premiums. Included, too, are "Elegant Glass" items sold through Department and Jewelry Stores.

The main room will dazzle your eyes as over 30 dealers from across the U. S. offer a wide array of Depression glass colors and patterns.

There will be a noted glass grinder on hand to repair the little nicks and dings on any of your own treasured pieces for a nominal fee.

A concession stand during the show offering a wide variety of refreshments.

Dealers will also be selling small antique and collectible items such as linens, jewelry, postcards and even some foreign chinaware.

Located at the Illinois Building at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, Springfield, IL.
