Oct. 14 & 15 = Knox County Scenic Drive, a celebration of Rural Heritage. Join us for the annual celebration here in Knox County, Illinois. The Knox County Scenic Drive is a self-guided car tour, allowing you to navigate your way through the small towns of Knox County, displaying the best they have to offer. You will encounter old traditions, crafts and skills at each of the stops along the way.  Each stop emphasizes a unique aspect of the rural heritage, but they are all bonded together by a fun, friendly atmosphere with plenty to see and do for the entire family. Okawville Illinois Fair & Wheat Festival

68th Annual Okawville Illinois Fair & Wheat Festival

 
     The Okawville Fair and Wheat Festival will be held in the Community Park in Okawville, Illinois on Sept. 15, 16 & 17, 2017.

     The annual event is sponsored by the Okawville Community Club, Inc. and the Okawville Lions Club. All net proceeds from the event are used by the two organizations in to support their various community projects.

 

Schedule of Events
Friday
5:00 p.m.                Concession stands open
6:00-10:00 p.m        Ride Arm Bands $20
6:00-11:00 p.m.       Single ride tickets $1 each of 22 for $20
                                (some rides take multiple tickets)
7:00 p.m                  Queen Judging and Crowning & Junior Miss   Crowning at the Junior/Senior High School building
8:00p.m.-Midnight    Free Outdoor Stage Entertainment - Music by J. Christopher, Most Dangerous One Man Band
