Okawville Illinois Fair & Wheat Festival

63rd Annual Okawville Illinois Fair & Wheat Festival

The Okawville Fair and Wheat Festival will be held in the Community Park in Okawville, Illinois on Sept. 16, 17 & 18, 2011.

The annual event is sponsored by the Okawville Community Club, Inc. and the Okawville Lions Club. All net proceeds from the event are used by the two organizations in to support their various community projects.

Friday

Noon - 9:00 p.m. Entries accepted in Exhibit Hall

5:00 p.m. Concession stands open

6:00-11:00 p.m Arm Bands $18 (single tickets $2, one ticket per ride)

7:00 p.m Queen Judging and Crowning & Junior Miss Crowning at the Luechlefeld Gym

8:00p.m.-Midnight Outdoor State Entertainment - Music by Backroads

Saturday

7:00 -8:30a.m. Entries accepted in Exhibit Hall

7:30 a.m. Okawville Racin' Rockets 5k run/walk

11:00 a.m. Concession Stands Open

Noon Washer Tournament

1:00 p.m. Young Farmers Activities

1:30 p.m. Outdoor Stage Entertainment - Local Talent Show

2:00 p.m. Exhibit Hall Opens

2:00 p.m. Antique Tractor Pull

3:00-5:00 p.m. Rides with single ride tickets at $2, one ticket per ride

3:30 p.m. Outdoor Stage Entertainment Pie Eating Contest

4:30-6:00 p.m. Outdoor Stage Entertainment - Venedy Band Concert

5:00-10:00 p.m. BINGO - American Legion Post #233, BL-3002

4:00 p.m. Okawville High School Band Concert

4:00-9:00 p.m. BINGO - American Legion Post #233, BL 3002

6:00-9:00 p.m. On Stage - Music by Easy Street Entertainment

All weekend - Corn Box for kids, free admission to fairgrounds, free parking.
